Following up on yesterday's clearing, today's morning was crisp. So I decided to let the feet do the walking, while the fingers cradled the 70D and took some snapshots in Midtown.
Looking at Times Square from Broadway and 42nd Street.
Old BMT car put to use in sports apparel store.
Fountain in Bryant Park. Unfortunately, because they chained off the park at this time of day, I could not center the fountain properly in this photograph.
Tulips in the twilight.
One tree seems to have stood out.
One corner of the New York Research Library.
A bank and a library along Fifth Avenue.
Chrysler Building stands serenely.

Thanks, Mike, you are welcome. :) Please, enjoy your visit. :) Even though I've lived in New York City my whole life, I consider each day I carry a camera another visit, to see yet another aspect of its beauty.

Nice shots, especially the old BMT.
I can sympathize with you. I'm working for nine days, 8:00 - 5:00. It doesn't leave me much time at the keyboard!

Thank you Jerry :) I try to keep the hours to no more than 40 hours a week, rarely more than that if it's at all possible.
Haven't been to The Big Apple in a long time now. Am enjoying you tours. Many thanks from Tx. djt

Thank you DJ. Now that the highs are reaching the seventies, and the lows are in the low 50s, it's great to come out and check out the town. Glad you're enjoying the City from Texas. :)

Photographically, I think "tulips," "tree," "library," and "bank" are very well done. Enjoying your photos very much. Thanks for sharing.

Don't bother yet, MOSFET. I've been posting on the Critique Forum and getting creamed. I have a lot to learn. Thank goodness, it's fun, too!
One of only two things I miss since moving to God's Waiting Room, the other is the beloved and battered Jersey shore. . .
Thanks for the tour, Dave! Good photos and makes me want to visit!
