The full price seems designed to drive more people to the monthly subscription. I have not found a discounted price for users of LR 5.

Gotta say it, monthly subscription for 10.00 a month, great deal - always the latest software for Photoshop and Lightroom.

Time for me to hold my nose and jump in the water. Goodbye Photoshop Elements! Goodbye LR 5.7!

So far, at least here for me, no CC upgrade to Lightroom 6 yet.... had one this morning for the CC App, but so far says Lightroom 5 is the current version.

I'm downloading LightroomCC now. I watched the KelbyOne webinar. More people are going to jump in. HDR, Panoramas and much faster. Plus more goodies. Yea!

Log out of your Creative Cloud and then log back in. It will be there then.

Kelby says that B&H has a deal on the Photographer's Bundle subscription for $99.99 for one year. He said something about "today and tomorrow only", but I don't recall if it was for that special pricing or for something else. At any rate, good deal!!

Upgrade price at Adobe is $79.
It's on the Standalone page.

Yeah. Those interested should be aware that there will be no upgrades to that version, however. Plus, if it's an interest, it won't support LightRoom Mobile.

Warning from one who has encountered trouble: please post your successes and failures. My LR CC2015 downloaded fine, but will not launch. It hangs and quits. Mac Yosemite with sufficient specs. Never had this happen with any prior version of LR and I've had em all.

Downloaded, installed, launched and converted catalog fine.... running Yosemite here to, 16 GB ram. Actually both Lightroom 5.7.1 and Lightroom CC exist on my machine right now. Both seem to operate fine.

A nice fellow from Netherlands just told me what to do so I'll pass it on in case someone else runs into it - there's a bunch of puzzled folks with this problem on other forums: with CC you have to sign out of CC and back in before you can activate it.
