More Singing Sparrows at 600mm

1/1000 sec f9 ISO 500-640, handheld, 35-40 feet away (I wish I could get closer, but he keeps flying away!) All at 600mm with heavy crops.

Even heavily cropped these are very sharp. You can see the feather detail in the downloads. I wish I could do this well.

Another great set! The detail is wonderful. Nice to have a song while you are photographing the subject.🎶

Beautiful trio of shots! I like no 1 best because the bird is unobstructed and stands out beautifully from the background.

Thank you Andrea :D The Tamron resolves detail pretty well, so I can crop them 1:1 and get really close.
