Some more bits and pieces from my trip. Don't look for a consistent theme - there isn't one, apart from the fact that I got them all while on my trip. (10 shots).

There's so many hazards on the roads these days :-)

Nice shots, especially the beach. The broch is intersting. wonder why they don't excavate them?

Thanks, Dideraux. There's probably some rule or law about disturbing sites of historical interest. You're right - there's a good chance they would be quite revealing.

What an amazing environment.
I always see images from Scotland/Ireland that seem to suggest that there may be no better place to be alone with yourself.
A place to sort out ones soul.
These images are further evidence of my belief.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks, K2mbs. There's certainly no shortage of opportunity to be on your own here, especially in the north-west. To give you an idea of how remote it is, much of the road network is still single track, and it'll probably stay that way. My beach shots were taken right next to a small town with a tourist trailer park, and I was there mid- to late morning, and it was easy to get shots without people in them (there were a few surfers for a while, but they didn't hang around). Thanks for commenting.

Good shots, R.G.! I love the footprints in the sand and the shape of the first bridge. Beautifully done!
