Thats a pretty good price right now on the 750, wonder if it will get better in the near future? Keep thinking I would likle acquire one, but the price on the 610 is more appealling BUT the features of 750 are also very appealling. Whats a body supposed to do what I ask? Darn gas anyway.

The D750 is unquestionable the better camera that has to offer a lot more than the 610. You get build-in Wi-Fi, much lower noise, faster bursts, a deeper buffer, much better weathersealing and a much better AF system!

If you have any interest in the D750 I think, if it was me, I would buy one now while you can get it for a better price. Will the price be better in the future? Of course it will at some point but you will have wasted all the time not using it when you could be using it now. Just a thought who has waited and been disappointed not having what I wanted when I wanted it.

Thats right speters give me more reasons to spend that kind of money. But it does seem like a lot of camera for a for sure novice such as myself. But it sure is tempting.

You are certainly correct Dennis the price will get better, but as you said is it worth the wait. I really enjoy my D90 but lets face it it's not a 750, also all my lenses except one are older full frame purchased towards the tail end of film cameras.

Be sure to let us know how you like it and post some photos. We are anxious to see them. Congratulations on the new camera.

That lower price is only for a short time. It will probably be a while before there's a permanent price drop, but it will come. There will be refurbs, too.

I own the D-600 and the D-750, the most important difference for me is that the D-750 focuses much better in low light. If you do not shoot people in low light it will not be as an important difference as it is for me. The 600 and 610 are very similar in most respects and I like my 600, but when I go to an event I use the 750. In image quality they are very comparable, such minor differences I can't distinguish between them, I guess I not that discerning as some. For the money I would but the 750 for sure.

Price is only good for another week, expires at April 25, 2015 at 11:59 P.M. ET.

There will eventually be refurbs, but WHEN?
Looking at other Nikon full-frame refurbs, the current $2K price is about as good as it gets.

I know that's probably as gud as it gets for quite some time. I see at B&H it is the same price but they also include a 1 year subscription to creative cloud which also includes Photoshop CC and light room 5. I know nothing about them.

Nikon had a D750 refurb for something like $2,099, but adding tax and possibly shipping makes that a bad choice.

I have the D750 and it is a fine camera but a little research will show you that the noise, high speed shooting rate, and buffer depth are essentially the same on the D610.

I guess u are correct but with temporary lower price on the D750 makes it awful hard to resist pmackd. And if purchased from B&H they are including a 1 year subscription to adobe cloud with Photoshop cc and light room 5.
