This past Saturday I went to Wellington Equestrian Center to photograph young people jumping their horses.

For the Tech Geeks -
A Nikon D300S with a Nikon 70-200mm f-2.8 VR lens and a 1.4X Nikon Teleconverter was used to take all these photos. Lightroom 4 was used to do all my post processing.

I would appreciate your feedback and critique on these photos.

I like the first one the best. It almost looks like an HDR.

Actually I used Nik Color EFEX Pro 4 to enhance the first photo. Arnold

Love the shots...I am a big equestrian fan, rode for many many years. I like the second shot...with the almost white background the horse and rider really stand out. Maybe it is my screen but one thing I noticed with # 2 and # 3 is they look a bit washed out like they need more contrast. But, like I said perhaps it is my screen and yours is better. Otherwise great captures of the moments.

Thank you very much for your comments. I think the contrast of the photos weren't up to par in these photos because I has poor lighting to contend with.

Nice action. Maybe a little less Post Processing and a couple of clicks down on Aperture , also maybe set the shutter on 500. These were taken at Thunderbird Show Park during the Grand Prix final round with a D3 and 200x400vr. CJ7

Thanks, here are a few more that were published. These are all World Cup Class riders and horses. I am also a horse owner and my daughter is a world class trainer. CJ7
