I see you list Southern California for location.

Cruise on out to Perris and the museum. Report to the office with paint and say you want to help out in restoration. They will sign you up, put you in contact with the collections and restoration guys and recruit you to help with this weekend's RailFest 2015 (it is also Steam Weekend). It is an ambitious project with lots of things going on at once. The museum needs lots of bodies, uh - volunteers, so we at least can run to the bathroom once in a while without having to shut something down.

I thought I'd give Wayne a run for the money (also done in Silver Efex).

Hmmmm! I should take more pictures of old junk, uh, I mean unique antique machines at the museum. We have lots of them. To the point that we now have full time security company service after hours and sometimes during night events. Metal theves, they once did over $30K worth of damage to one of our locomotives stripping out the copper wire and bush bars from the generators.

I like Bob Yankle's version because we see just enough of the background to know it's an industrial-type setting and the subject is the main focus. My eyesight might be bad, but, on the one hand, I would like to see the writing a bit clearer, but, on the other hand, I wouldn't want a change to make the subject look false and overly pp-ed.

Thanks for posting. The contrast in this shot is hard to handle, it is bright sunny desert light at midday. Plus the ground is a very light off white with a hint of brown? Like all the early PC cases used to be. If I had my tripod and remote trigger I would have needed a 5+ shot HDR with wide latitude between frames to cover both the shadows and highlights.
