I don't quite understand what you mean by user info, what else is there to know about a lens but the specs?

KEH has many manuals for older lenses, particularly Canons. They must gobble them up when they make their pushes across the US on buying trips. They had a major sweep last fall and now are showing all kinds of older items. It's kind of amusing to look at the equipment they offer. There are some real gems. Good luck in your quest.

Have you tried the Canon website? Most companies have their user manuals online. If that fails, you can also try good ole Google. :D

Lauren, Canon maintains their "museum" site that mentions all past and present lenses and cameras. The specs for each lens are easily found, but not owner's manuals. I have chased manuals for past lenses and found some interesting sites to search. Google is actually a mess when trying to find printed matter from the past. Googleisties don't like print!

  Thanks so much the link has exactly what I was after with the pdf of the pamphlet that would have been supplied with the lens. Plus its a great resource for so much other photographic brochures and panphlets. Once again I thank you and appreciate your efforts in passing this information on.  :D
