These 20 GIANTS Are The Largest Of Their Kind.
1. Big Jake is the tallest known horse in the world. He's even in the Guinness Book of World Records!
2. African Giant Snails can reach up to eight inches in length. Escargot for everyone!
3. No one messes with the Cane Toad! Besides being really big, they have very few predators because of their toxic skin.
4. Chinese Giant Salamanders can grow up to six feet in length, but don't worry about these creepy crawlers taking you down... they are almost 100% blind!
5. Giant Weta Crickets are big enough to eat whole carrots. Thankfully, they're only found on a small island off the coast of New Zealand.
6. This Saltwater Crocodile was a whopping 21 feet long. It took three weeks to capture the croc, believed to be the largest ever caught. Although this IS a really big saltwater crocodile, it's far from being the biggest one ever caught; "Salties" are known to attain as much as 25 ft. , and a 25 footer would probably outweigh this one by half a ton.
7. Say hello to Sandy -- one of the largest known Flemish rabbits -- h*****g with her Sheltie friend. (Now that's a BIG bunny! )
8. This giant rat was k**led in a Bronx, NY Foot Locker. This is the stuff my nightmares are made of. ( I'm pretty sure this is one of those infamous N.Y. democRATS ) ( he probably v**ed for Mayor DeBlasio )
9. The monstrous and endangered Giant Freshwater Stingray can grow up to 1,300 lbs! This one is a mere 900 lbs.
10. Can you imagine seeing this gigantic Coconut Crab outside your front door?! They got their name because their claws are powerful enough to crack (you guessed it) coconuts!
11. Another Guinness World Record holder, Giant George the Great Dane, weighs 245 lbs and consumes over 110 lbs of kibble a month!
12. The Giant Huntsman Spider was discovered only 13 years ago, in 2001. Luckily, this bird-eating monster is mostly found in deep jungle caves.
13. The African Goliath Frog eats birds, snakes, and even other frogs. I won't be visiting their home, Cameroon, any time soon!
14. Yes this is a real photo and YES that is an 11-year-old boy who took down this humongous one ton hog!
15. Yikes! These Macroptychaster Sea Stars -- AKA monster starfish -- were discovered by scientists in Antarctic waters in 2008.
16. Put that Titan Beetle down, kid! These guys can grow up to 6.5 inches... eek!
17. Trigger the Cow is 6.5 feet tall, 14 feet long and weighs over one ton. ( I'll bet this sucker could make some REALLY big "cow pies"!
18. Gross! The Mekong Catfish can be found in the polluted waterways of China... and can grow up to 10.5 feet long!
19. This fruit-eating bat is the largest bat on the planet. In fact, it's SO big, it's called the Bismarck Flying Fox.
20. Say hello to "Crabzilla." The Japanese Spider Crab's claws are so powerful they can k**l a human. (I don't think many people have ever been k**led by a spider crab )
