really vibrant colors. if you don't mind me asking how are you getting that vibrant sky? hdr, polarizer filter, post processing, sacrifice to the pagan god fuiji?

I fear the color of the skies in both photos does not appear natural. There's good interest in both shots, good composition and sharp focus but they appear over-processed.

I agree, trying to get to that happy medium to get away from that "kodachrome" look. Practice make perfect and that is what I am going to try to do as I now have time to wander, look, shoot and process. Thanks for the reply. Your 2 cents is worth at least a dime. :-D

When using a CP I will sometimes back it off to avoid a too-dark sky. Staying on the safe side, I may even take 2 or 3 pictures with the CP at different strengths.

After all, if the sky appears over-blue, then its appearance may become a distraction.
