I'm looking for a professional service that offers specialty sized printing - like 20 X 12. I'd also like a source for super sized prints, significantly larger than the traditional poster. I've looked at a number of online services, and though they have a variety of offerings, none seem to cater to the odd size.

Suggestions appreciated.

Have a look at this one. Now I haven't used them...but will in the near future.

Check your local 'mom & pop' sign shop.

At my former employer, we had a 48" printer, photo canvas & photo paper.

Good luck.

Go on line and look up "R&R Color Lab ROES" or just R and R color Lab on Monroe in Spokane WA. For 5 years they were our competition when I printed for another lab. Our lab closed and I have been with this lab for over 30 years, not printing but having them print for me. Very little turnover and they bend over backwards to work with you. I calibrated my monitor with theirs and can't be happier with the color and their services. I do a lot of large canvas prints along with proofing all my work prior to large print orders.

I am not sure what you mean by professional service. However, Costco will print to the maximum size their machines allow and then cut the paper to the size you specify. If you are satisfied with their printing, you will be more than happy with the price.

I know iprintfromhome.com will do any size that isn't the norm. For one 20x12, all you have to do is order a 20x16 size.
They do very large prints also. I've had them up to 48x12 several times with good results and quality. Very reasonably priced also.

I use WhiteHouseCustomColors. They aren't cheap and not sure how LARGE they print, but probably are based on 48 wide printers. It's easy for custom sizes, they just print on the next size paper and you can trim or they will for a price. www. whcc.com

Or you could set up the picture so that it fits on the next size print with crop marks and bleed trim. You might find this to be less expensive. I already own an exaxto blade, cutting mat and straight edge...but that could be because I'm a Graphic Designer and those are standard supplies for me.

I just use mpix.com. I do this for my 11x17 prints (use 12x18 standard prints). That way I can use their awesome metallic paper prints.

I use Adorama Pix for prints larger than my 13" Epson printer will allow and particularly like the prints on metal. Anyone else have experience with them?

Office Depot made a panorama the dimensions of which are approx. 8 FEET by 30 Inches. If I recall correctly, there are 10+/- images in the stitch. Made with a D800 using a 14-24 @ 19mm, portrait orientation. Came out really nice!

If you are having them print on paper it should not be a problem if they have a printer that will as large as tyou want. They usually will print on a paper that is larger than your image and trim the excess and charge you for the size used.
Now if you are having canvas done it's a different scenario. Most places that offer canvas buy their frames already sized and will not vary from them. You ,as a customer will have to find someone to do the stretching or do it yourself.
