Thanks to all for the compliments. Shot late evening, rapidly fading natural light. Hand held at ground level. Backdrop is a wild leek (locally referred to as "ramps")
Very pretty. A great shot so clear and bright. I have many tiny wildflowers in my grass and every year make sure to get some shots of them as well as the ones in the garden.
Gorgeous. One of my favorites. So many color variations and patterns on those guys. I wonder if people who are not familiar with them realize how small they are? I posted a shot last year with a nickel next to a blossom (they are smaller than a nickel.) They are just starting to bloom here in Michigan.
