Gorgeous. What a magnificent bird. He looks like about a year or so old. Where did you take the pictures? I noticed he's with his handler.

Thanx ...These photos were taken on Sunday in Northern Indiana...Yes, she is w/ a handler and she will be released back into the wild soon..You are right she is a magnificent bird...

Beautiful shots. You could never get these in the wild.

Years ago a man from our church had the appropriate licenses to capture red-tailed hawks. He would keep one for about a year and take it out to hunt rabbits and then feed it throughout the week. He did a demo to our Church Boy's Brigade one evening and it was a real hit. He could release the hawk and it would come back to him. Great stuff.

Unless you run into English Wolf don't think anything of it. Just be more careful next time and don't make us wait too long for next time. These are beautiful shots.

Thank you I'm glad you like the shots and you are right I would never get them in the wild...The guy that brought this hawk has the licenses to care for it and she is recoverung from a injured wing she flew into a fense post in Dec..... she will be released back into the wild soon...
