Here is a couple of shot's I took of Hickory Nut Fall's....These falls are in Chimney Rock NC ....They were featured in the movie Last of the Mohican's ....supposed to be the second tallest falls east of the Mississippi River , standing 404 ft tall...

mountain top locale.....had about a half-mile trail to get to it....it's in Chimney Rock State Park here in NC

I was here a few years ago when it was still privately owned. Hope you made the loop around the top of the mountain. It is a photographers paradise.
