A trip round the north of Scotland.
These are from a recent trip I had up to the north coast of Scotland and back home down the north-west coast. The good thing about mountains is that there's something worth capturing even in bad weather (except thick mist - which is what I got on the way home :( ).

Excellent shots. It's like I've seen on TV so many times.

Thanks very much, Geoff. I stayed in the Ben Loyal hotel in Tongue, which was fine and very reasonably priced.
Unless you're exceptionally fond of bleak moorland, you'll find that the north-west and west is more scenic than the north-east. I went up through the middle (through Lairg), and went back home down the west coast to Ullapool before heading back east. This is just a fraction of the shots that I got from my trip. I'm planning a Part II when I get the editing done.
PS - I hope you're familiar with single track roads and passing places. You can't get round the top without having to use them for some of the trip.

Thanks, Dave. There's something worth shooting whatever the weather.

As a Welsh guy living in Yorkshire (not really part of England!) that made me chuckle!
Beautiful photographs.
