These are from Nativity of Mary,
Blessed Virgin Catholic Church, in Schulenberg. This was the darkest of the 4 we visited.

Thank you all, it was a quick trip, my sister was with me and we flew through them. There is one undergoing some renovation that is supposed to be beautiful not available until August.
All of them can be seen here
www.pbase.com/lbrandt79, in the first three albums.
Enjoyable set. Your white balance seems dead on, did you do custom WB for each location? And it can be right difficult to get the "level" right on inside large building shots.
When I travel, for my job, I search for grand old churches to attend. The actual denomination isn't overly important, the Lord laughs at most of us, but the buildings as a reflection of our faith can produce some amazing buildings.
After services, often either the pastor, or preist, will greet us visitors, and ask what faith we are. I confess that I am an AAC member, Archaeological Architectural Christian. Upon receiving an interested but confused facial expression, I explain "it is all about the buildings as a reflection of our faith".
We are all very proud of our churches, and I have been given such great personal tours of great churches about this county. Your photos reflect you as a true devotee of AAC, nice work!
Thanks for sharing.
These pictures are amazingly beautiful !!! It looks like it would compete with the churches of the world !!! Great detail, for a somewhat unknown church in Texas. Wonderful job---and an excellent eye

Thank you, I did not really do anything other than crank up the ISO as they were not lit well. I shot with a Canon 6D with a 24-105 lens, adjusted f stop occasionally but that was it. Thought about getting my tripod out but felt like it would slow me down. Shooting at higher ISO is pretty amazing these days.

good for you, you will enjoy it. From St. John the Baptist Catholic to Nativity of Mary Blessed Catholic is where we saw the Longhorns in the Bluebonnets.
