Depends on if you like it or not. To me it looks like your lens hood was too small. But if you like to add the effect, thats totally up to you, its your photo, enjoy it!

Isn't vignetting darkening of the edges as compared to the center, not darkening of the entire picture?

yea but, we can't really notice it. Sorry. Maybe if it was on a portrait or something that would be more noticable.

It must not be too much or everyone would notice it. Looks fine to me.

I guess the point is that it's just darkening, not really vignetting.

The best vignette is the one you don't notice, an old photographer told me, years ago.

The eye of the viewer should automatically go to the face or whatever the intended focus is.

If the vignetting looks obvious, then it is too much.......

Your pic looks fine with the discreet vignetting you did

Turbo,

Thanks for the response. Indeed I agree with you 100%. and the more I look at the picture online the more subtle the vignette appears and indeed I do like it. The problem is that the original, before I uploaded it, had significantly more obvious vignette. I think the process of uploading it to the website actually improved it. I am going to take this as a sign that I should use less vignette "in real life"

I barely notice it. Looks like the normal amount that you sometimes get with some lens.
