The crane migration through Nebraska is winding down. It's an amazing sight to see all the cranes coming and going from the river. They spend their nights on the river and when the sun comes up they move to the fields to eat. At night they move back to the river in huge flocks that blacken the skies. Photo opportunities are endless.
Just beautiful, I had the opportunity to shoot them in Bosque del Apache a few years ago and it was wonderful. Can't get enough of these birds.
Thanks for looking everyone. They're fun to watch and photograph. They are a challenge to get good photos though.
