Went to the wine country to geocache with my wife. Didn't have much time, but I did stop for these series of photos of a vineyard. I only had a few minutes, so I shot these from the road.
I mucked around a bit with the hdr as well. The lighting was too fun not to mess around with it just a bit.

Lighting and color is excellant...
that first shot is a doozy..very very interesting...I. wish you'd have posted the large size (check the box marked "store original" so we could see it at full size. :)

I like the last one. The lines a great! And the two trees are awesome shapes. And they mowed the weeds :-D

The middle image I mucked with the HDR program as I had bracketed the shot because the light was so high contrast.
The fog was just coming in over the coastal range and was presenting a great feeling for the background for the other images.
I used my new Nikon 28-300 vr. I have only had it a couple of months, but I am really getting use to having it on the camera for my "normal" lens. It could be a bit faster, but then I would have to sell my children to afford it.
What's you caching name? I cache in all over Nor Cal and might have seen your name or even grabbed a cache of yours. I'm HexRider, from Chico.

You will see dbozsik and my wife is calmaddvm. We only have about 2700 caches so far. She does all of the logging. I stopped logging mine when I reached #80.

Geocaching.....one of our slogans is "We use high tech satellites to find tupperware in the woods."
It is a "treasure" hunt where we find (or try to) a hidden container in a given spot. The coordinates are usually provided on the web site (sometimes you must solve some sort of puzzle to obtain the coordinates). You load the coordinates into your GPS device and go searching. Containers range from military ammo cans to hollowed out bolts attached to a post. Some very easy....some very difficult. Larger containers often contain "swag" (usually kids toys and such).
I find it to be a fun sport that takes you to cool places in a town that only the locals know about.
There is well over 1 million geocaches hidden world wide. You may have seen one and not even known it.
Here is a fake mushroom cache I found

Yup, that's geocaching. For those who like to photograph, it is an excellent web site. You can select an area you would like to explore and you will have caches to find as well as opportunities for photos.
Here are a couple more from the same trip.
Last year's rattlesnake grass and droplets
Moss under forest canopy - Mt Tamalpais
Beautiful, but still poison oak.
I like the second vineyard pic and the raindrops on the stems the most.

Ah, one of those "good news, bad news" posts.
The good news is that I learned something new: "Geocaching"
The bad news is: You wasted too much time geocaching instead of using your camera more up in the Napa Valley!
My suggestion would be to unplug the GPS, grab your camera, and go get lost somewhere wonderful. Leave the "tupperware" out in the forest for the less creative types! :)
