The branch in the back was the 4th thing my eyes went to, first was the bowel on the left, then the bird then the bowel on the right, then the branch, which isn't too bad at all, kinda adds to it. If I may make a suggestion, maybe do a long crop taking out the two bowels. I held both of my hands up over them and it looked pretty good.

Where did you see bowels? I thought the birds feathers hid his bowels fairly well. Now, the bowls on the other hand could have been cropped out. I think they are a bit of a distraction to the beautiful colors of the bird. Just like unanchored's edit.

you are right the bowels would have been a tough edit - so took the easy road and jettisoned the bowls - glad the bird survived the cropping pretty much intact
