These are beautiful, Sherry.... love the colors, and they make for great models!!!!
Are these the tropical hibiscus or perennial? I'd love to buy one, but wouldn't be able to bring it indoors in the winter.
:-D

Thank you, Angela. I'm new to gardening (always had the desire but never the time; now that I have the time I am short on energy). My reference book says the Fiestas (multi-colored) are winter hardy to 30* but need to be covered if temps go much lower. If the last couple of winters repeat next year, these will probably prove to be annuals. But, if they don't grow too large, I may be able to cover them and enjoy again next year! I haven't been able to ID the yellow one yet, so, time will tell.

I want to think they are all tropical, so if the temps go under 30 you can either bring them inside or at least keep them in the garage or shed. The hibiscus I have is perennial and will withstand very cold temps and comes back yearly. Only mine is all red, a bit boring compared to yours!!

They certainly should! Just beautiful, Sherry! These all have that wonderful glow, and your focus is right where it orta be. :-)

Thank you, Donna. It is your use of the 100-400 for shooting close-ups that inspired me to give it a try with the 150-500.
