Eagles nest with a resident present.

Went out shooting eagles again this morning with a little less wind blowing. Things turned out better but not perfect (Sharp) as I was hoping for. I still haven't found just the right settings for the great shot.

Very nice set! Im jealous as Im still waiting to grab a BE shot! fwiw- Dont know what your using but whenever I want the sharpest out of my 150-500mm Sigma its f11 if light permits. Bob

Thank you Bob, I shot with many different f stops just to see what it would do. Some of these pics are with the 150-500 on a D300 and some are from my D90 with a Nikon 80-400 older lens. Thanks for looking and your kind comment and advice.

I like the action in several of the shots, more interesting than the usual nest shots. How did you adjust the white balance?

I took a few test shots and found (Direct sunlight A1 M2 to give me the color I liked) and with those settings I didn't have to make any changes in PP.
