Your coughing from a cold results in a abdominal hematoma! Was taken by ambulance to ER yesterday afternoon bec I was having severe pain....thought maybe appendicitis. They gave me morphine & did CT scan......unbelievable. LOL. I felt so embarrassed but Dr said I did the right thing by coming in. Apparently it was just in front of the appendix & he was thinking the same thing. . . I don't know if I believe him but I felt better.

Always better to be safe than sorry or dead. Glad it was minor and you didn't have to have surgery.

Thanks. Yes it was very scary. A lot of pain if I didn't move, but really bad if I did. I couldn't believe that much pain was from a 'bruise'! Shee!
