I have owned several Canon APS-C cameras over time (20D, 30D, 40D, 50D and 7D), as well as the FF 5D MK II and 5D MK III. I knew that I would eventually upgrade to the 7D MK II, but I wanted to wait for a few months until the price came down somewhat. I was hoping to save at least 20% off the new camera price of $1799.00 which meant I was looking for a selling price around $1460.00. I purchase most my camera gear on Amazon.com, in "Used - Like New" condition. In this case, I chose a Refurbished camera and when I contacted the seller, found out that the camera was still new in the box, with zero actuations and a selling price of $1399.00. Wait over! I ordered it on a Monday afternoon and it was delivered to my doorstep on Thursday.
I took it out on its maiden voyage Friday and the following images are from the first photoshoot.

Thanks foodie. The flowers surprised me ...... just a few weeks ago, we had no flowers at all, then it's as if an explosion of color hit my hometown.

Thanks Frodo. I am very pleased with the results. I had high expectations after i'd read others reviews on UHH, and it seems to be living up to its reputation.
Excellent shots with a vey nice camera

Thanks mper. You can probably imagine the fun I'm having with my new "adult toy".

Great stuff, Bob!
Thanks drmarty. The new camera has just become the latest member of the family to make contribution to UHH.
Enjoy the new toy, I envy you now (besides your photo/PP skills) I would really like to get an action body with improved AF over my 6D.
Very nice pics you got with the new camera.

Thanks for your comment Jerry. I suspect there are options out there for you with better focusing capabilities ...... just a matter of setting aside a little bit each month until you can afford to get a new body. If I had to be honest, I upgraded to the 7D MK II specifically for its focus capabilities ....... I prefer tack-sharp when I can get it.
