The first thing I did after the battery charged for my D7100 was go outside and try to capture the sunset. Those too were met with very little fanfare and that's fine but I have to say, Pete, that in 57 years I have seen a few sunsets and they haven't gotten old yet.

Thanks Mike, got ya beat by a few years on seeing sunsets and your are correct they never get old ( even after the sun sets there can be some awesome colors left to view.

Great set, nature can't be outdone by man. I prefer 4&6 for reasons I can't explain.

Thanks Simon, missed a really good sunrise this morn.
Took off to walmart to get the hounds some breakfest and lo and behold there it was n I was like ahhhhhhhh Sxxt.

I like the top and bottom ones best. WHy?
The middle ones are very nice too, but there is no contrast of color to set the red/orange off, so I feel they are not as stimulating.
Well. .the top one doesn't exactly have this, but it does have the big yellow globe to counter the orange. . .and a cool overall design

Thanks Wolfie, how quickly the colors can change from photo to photo.
I changed positions several times gettin further away all the time, the last photo was taken from about 1/2 mile from where I took the first shot.
