I have a video shoot at this winery in a few months. I always go snap a picture of the venue a few months before the wedding date and then send it to the B&G. They always love the snap and it communicates that they are in good hands.
Taken this morning at 5:45 am
Robert Hall Winery in Paso Robles, California
Great shot. Great composition. Of course, I am a little biased since my signature compositions are foliage framed. (see avatar) The shot is very dark on my monitor but I am sure you can/will PP to perfection. This is a fine art shot and maybe you could use it to leverage some beneficial networking with the venue. Also, good idea in sending B&G shot.
Edit: After I posted this and went back to thread your pic was much brighter. Don't know why this happened????

It is suppose to be a bit dark, it was taken very early ............ dawn's early light ;)
I like the shot with dark exposure. Your venues in California seem to have so much character... and wine :) I have a wedding in August at the Franklin Park Conservatory where there will be no limit on beautiful foliage to incorporate. I really need make the best out of this one.

Ya...Like I said, when I went back it looked way brighter. I think maybe I had been viewing it on my laptop with the screen tilted wrong. Good thing I don't do any PP on the laptop.
Pic looks great and would make a great wall hanger.

Yes, by dark exposure I meant correct exposure in this case. I would be tempted to use a longer shutter speed or higher ISO to bring up the brightness but that would take away from the true early morning feeling.

I really like the idea of not just going early to check the venue, but actually sending it to the Bride and Groom. It would help keep them excited (as if they aren't already, but I'm sure it helps build the excitement) and lets them know that you are already working on their wedding.

Yes, the B&G love it and they know they are in good hands.
It also gives you something to attach to the venues Facebook page. Over half the time I get a response from the venue that they love it and usually ask me for a link to see video after the wedding. This of course will end up being on their website as a video. On the venue Facebook page there is nothing better than the venue giving props to you, other potential brides see that kudos, you can't buy that sort of good exposure.
Thanks all for the kind words, remember I've only starting snapping photos of weddings, video yes but pictures is a new gig for me.
