This is my favorite hummingbird. He not only drinks out of my hand, he will let me touch him when he is at the hummingbird feeder. The other hummers will fly away but he stays. My grandkids love it when he lets them touch him. If we move to fast he will fly away.

How neat! And really nice shot too!

Just put my feeder out this afternoon - perhaps a day early, but they are coming!

Wow, now that's an amazing story...your so lucky Terri. I think it's so cool that you have a Hummingbird friend. Now, the shot you posted is equally amazing...such good detail.
Great Story...Great Job!

Great shot Terri, love the detail and colors, very well done. You are so lucky to have these beauties in your yard, and to have one that trusts you

That's a fabulous shot and what a little beauty! I would love to photograph a hummer but we don't have them here in the UK. Never mind, I'll just have to settle for looking at the shots we get on UHH instead so please keep posting ;-)

I think the HE is a SHE not positive but I think the male is bright colored with some red on the neck. I love the picture I am always trying to get the perfect picture of them at the camper. We have 4 feeders on the deck and they let me get close but never touch. sometimes if the feeders are low they come looking for use and let us know by hovering in front of our faces though..:)
