Here are some images from my visit yesterday to the Poinsett Gunnery Range located near Sumter, SC.

These images were taken with my Canon T3i with a Canon EF-s 55-250mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM telephoto. All images were hand held.

Very good. It would be nice to know the shutter speed, diaphragm, and focal length. Framing is as good as it gets, same with exposure and detail. If these were shot at 250mm focal length, hand held, they are far better than average. If shot at less than 250mm, you might like to think about getting closer or using telephoto to the max.
