Saw this critter at Fox Lake in Titusville, Fl. I honestly don't know what it is called. It is about 24" in height and very vocal. It is very active and difficult to capture in a pose.(nothing new for the animal world) Critique welcome.

Focus seems best on the first one.
Focus on the second is OK but having the foreground grass sharp detracts a bit. Lower f-stop would help it.
Too much foreground and focus on it in the third. You might try cropping it to put the bird's head upper right.

Thank you MtnMan. I knew i missed on the focus. Could have done better. I' glad to get an I.D. on the bird.
