An "EYE" for photography

When my wife and I display our photos at craft fairs and flea markets, we often get comments the we both "have a good eye". When they say that I am forced to pull out my business card that reads, "An eye for photography".
I don't usually use that one unless they mention the "eye" first. By the way, the business card has a photo of my eye on it.

"Eye" is far more important than equipment. You see spacial relationships, interesting colors, facial expressions etc. Of course, better to have good equipment. But a couple of my best pictures were taken with lower level equipment I had at hand.

When people tell me I have a good eye, I usually reply, "I should. I paid enough for it!" (I have an artificial eye.)
