An Osprey eyes the Eagle youngsters

An Osprey landed at the Eagle's nest and both youngsters lowered their heads. In just a few seconds you could hear the screams of the parents - the Osprey heard them loud and clear. The Osprey was soundly trounced by one of the parents while the other landed next to the kids.
I have seen the Osprey circle the nest when the parents were away. The chicks never appeared concerned about it. I figured it was because they are now larger than their parents and have formidable talons of their own. When the Osprey landed, the chicks didn't appear to be agitated or nervous ... they both just sat there with their heads lowered. It was interesting to watch. UPDATE: I have been told that the visitor was not an Osprey but rather a juvenile Bald Eagle.

Great pics. The visitor looks like an immature bald eagle, not an osprey though.
