pictures taken with a Bower 500mm f8 T mount manual everything with a nikon D300.
Nice, looks like the fish the osprey got is fighting back
If the technique is good the lens usually does its part.
Fun shot of the osprey peering down at you; they have such a piercing stare :)
Neat you got the kingfisher; they are so hard to photograph!
On the great egret: if you find yourself photographing white birds against very dark backgrounds, set exposure to darker (exposure compensation to -1 (or sometimes just - 2/3 will do it) if on aperture or shutter priority, or Program mode). That will give you more detail in the feathers.
thank you , will do next time , i use aperture priority , exposure comp at zero , with in the menu set at f11 for non normal lens , in matrix .center or spot do not give right exposure . the lens is a preset stop , it start at f8 to f32 .due to the darkness spec of this lens , in sun light you use f8 , f11 and at time f16 . this was just to prove that you can have fun for $ 125 new . this is a good way to start bird shots , before you move to the big gun .
