Yes this sad, said the (now) old kid who once had a Kodak Instamatic. Times have changed, and Kodak, unfortunately, failed to change fast enough to keep their leadership position. Thanks for sharing.

Kodak invented consumer photography. It is very sad that they couldn't keep up with it.

Great company and have used hundreds and hundreds of rolls of Kodak film and processing chemicals too.
One does not want to think it but, probably a lot of older "nay-sayers" that helped lead to company to film ruin for the hobbyists and technology advancements. Sad indeed.
