That was cool, I'm amazed at the quality, detail and sharpness they were able to get in some of those pictures.
I'm glad you guys like it, I wasn't sure if some of the pictures would offend some people

I worked for 5 years in a funeral home, it takes a lot to offend me. The stories I could tell of the crazy things I have seen.
HEY !!! Watch the "Retired Marine" thing !!!
I resemble that remark !!
Thanks for the link. Those photographers who did the work during the Civil war were very devoted craftsmen. Nothing was easy for them. They lugged heavy equipment into the field and worked sometimes in 'portable' dark rooms (wagons that were closed up with no ventilation and working with noxious chemicals in the hot weather or freezing cold). Makes you wonder how many of us today would stick with it if we had to work with that equipment and under those conditions.
Amazing photos, I visited Andersonville, they didn't have shot's like this. Thank's.
I will have to show those pictures to my husband he is a big Civil War buff. He has a cousin that got a Medal Of Honor at Nashville. Thanks for sharing the website.
I'm glad that so many people are enjoying the link
