I am new to this forum. This is my first submission to the Photo Gallery. These are pictures I took of my husband's sports car, named "Blue Bird". I took them for a car club calendar. Both were taken with a Canon 30D camera, EF 16-35mm f/2.8L, USM lens. Please feel free to provide feedback.

As for the pictures I think I would go with "Blue Bird in Fall". Detail seems to be showing better in that one from what I see, and I think the reflections give a better feel for the shine in the paint.

Yes - hand built by my husband and my two brothers. The car was built in 354 days - start to tags. It is a Factory Five Mk 3 body and chassis, with all new parts except for the footbox and pumpkin. It has a 345 HP Ford Racing 302 crate engine, IRS, T5 transmission and goes like a bat out of hell!! The car has won best in class for 3 out of 4 years in the Autorama World of Wheels in KC ( the year it didn't win my younger brothers Cobra (another family project) took first place).

Nice ride, I know what your husband went through, a friend of mind did the same thing. I'm a Vette guy and love all kinds of cars, mostly the vintage ones. My photo preference is the first one, old building with an old great looking care, and the complimenting blues, off-setting each other just enough, yet not too busy in the back round to distract from your main subject. Have you or your husband received your traditional "LEG BRAND" from the side exhaust yet? :thumbup:

beautiful car...my wife's dad would love to have that car....a cobra is his dream. i just need to hit the lottery and i will buy one for him!!

We have not been "snake bit" because we installed heat shields on the side pipes so we would not touch them. A niece has touch them on one of my brother's Cobra's...severe burn!
