I am a new resident of Texas and would like to shoot some bluebonnets, since I understand they are now or will soon be blooming. I've noticed that there are quite a few Hogs who live here and would like some advice about where to go to see the blooms.
Thanks in advance.

Ennis, Madisonville, Point Blank and fields in between are always good places to see fields of bluebonnets.
I'm in the Brazos Valley and they are just starting to pop up this week! In two weeks there will be many good photo ops between here and Brenham!
Thank you, Laura. Can't wait to see them!

Memories! Spent the first year of our marriage in Sealy (1958-9) and saw the bluebells. "I remember it well."
Wildflowers are in full bloom in the SATX area. It is going to be wildflower Sunday this week. Going to the Shooting Star Museum, a ranch in Devine they takes you for a ride in the bluebonnet fields.
I miss the smell of them while riding in the hill country. You can smell them before you see them.
