8-) Just introducing myself to the community.I am a amurture photographer trying to learn the ins and outs of photography. I kind of hit the wall with my pas camera and am looking foward to buying my first d-slr camera.But I was also told and will follow the suggestion of not totaly abandoning my pas.I wil look to see if I can upload some of my photos for suggestions and if not they can be found on snapfish or facebook.Take Care,Rob Jones

Thank you, Like I mentioned,I think I hit the wall with my pas so Ill start to try my luck with an slr.Maybe Nikon.Jve been doing some internet research and they have a 3 pc. for sale for under $800.00.Ya, beautiful dog,Im definately a dog lover but where I live now I cant have one.Maybe soon when i move.

Please let me know what in your mind are the pros and cons of the Nikon system.I am in the practice of downloading manuals, and sometimes we have to pay for them, when I can to learn about what might be a good fit for me. I actually found this out to be a great source of information no matter what electronics I might be buying. Thanks for all of your input and Ill get back to you soon.Rob
