any suggestions...always welcome!
Do you do any Post Processing to your images? If yes, what software do you use?
yes...I use picasa and hae elements 8...which I am learning, however it seems a little difficult. Ive been watch some utube tutorials on it, they are helpful.
I use picasa a lot too. It's been a good starter for me in post processing programs. I have elements 9 and like you it's taking a little longer. :-)
I've taken the liberty of doing a couple of very quick PP steps on one of your shots. You've got plenty of color to work with, it's just that the color isn't well balanced. Step one was to open up the color curves palate (I work in Photoshop so Picasa may call it something else) and then let the software balance the colors - in Photoshop there is a button called AUTO where it automatically balances the color. It doesn't always get it right, but it's usually fairly close. I tweaked the R-G-B channels just a smidgen, then using the Levels adjustment, I increased the black point (made the dark areas a tad darker, and increased the midtones (made the middle tones a tad lighter.) Two steps and the color is reasonably balanced. Oh, wait, I forgot - I then increased saturation just a tad because the photo is overexposed enough that the colors are washing out.

That looks great. Picasa has an "I feel lucky" button for autocorrect but you can go to effects or tuning and in tuning it has a saturation button. Picasa vs photoshop is like going from P&S to DSL.
