Unexpected find! Bald Eagle

Went out looking for wildlife and almost got skunked. We spotted two eagles when we were heading home and one landed in a tree at the side of the highway.
We have liftoff!

I am very lucky to live near a wildlife management area. We have resident bald eagles here but you need a very very very good zoom lens to get pictures.

Great sequence of shots! Most of the ones I see here in the Interior of Alaska are very cooperative, but mostly still and sitting in trees.
