Here are a couple of quick snapshots of my latest camera restoration project. An old German Balda 6X9 folding camera. I placed it on while pasteboard in the sunlight and used the Canon 50mm f/2.5 macro lens on my Canon 5D. I haven't completely identified the exact model and year of manufacture yet. That is part of the fun with collecting old cameras
I have cleaned the lens and most of the other parts except for the Prontor shutter. I have the service manual for the shutter but I am hoping that I will not need to completely disassemble it. The timer works and the shutter works except that it sticks at 1/50 and 1/25 of a second settings.
I have a roll of Ilford 120 ASA 400 B&W film to try out in it. Has anyone used the Ilford 120 ASA 3200 film?

Very nice. I have a Voightländer folder that is similar. The Ilford 3200 film is fantastic. It can be used from 1000 ISO, the actual speed of the film, all the way to 12,500 with the right processing.
So did the Germans copy Kodak or did Kodak copy the Germans? I have a Kodak camera that looks similar to yours.
Nice project, I think I also have a identical Balda camera lying around somewhere.
