Looking for lifelong learning...
Woman "of a certain age" in NW FL...started photography about 4 years ago...relying initially and primarily on web-based photography site classes and support groups. Now combining photography with writing...articles of all kinds, and...if I can...a book.
Looking forward to learning from others on this site.

man of uncertain age living in treasure coast of florida have been shooting since I was 7 got serious about it in the last 15 years. love action shots like your cowboy picture. can't think of any improvements to suggest. what kind of book are you thinking about? I've been working on and off (mostly off) on a coffee table book about the churches of Indian River County and their history.
all ther ways you have approached photography is good but your direct input and practice on taking photographs is the best and only way you going to advance in photography. The photographer must develop a vision that the camera becomes an extension of your photographic execution and the use cameras and equipment comes in last. Today,s cameras make you almost a pro put of the gate but there more to photography than taking snap shots. Your photograph shows promise it,s and interesting photo telling a sstory.
