From my own experience, Boston is about the most difficult city to navigate in the whole world. When they say the original streets followed the old cows paths, I can firmly believe it. It's wonderful that you captured such good shots Frodo.

Thanks very much Bob. I really love the old architecture mixed with the new. It was very oddly laid out, but I also feel the same way about DC and San Antonio.

Thanks for the memories. I use to work at the Old State House back in 1964 when I was in High School. Nice photos.

Quite right about driving around Boston. Its a frustrating city to navigate. We live in NYC, it's so much easier. Once you get out of the financial district and lower Manhattan. All the Avenues run North and South all the Streets run East and West. Plus we are much nicer people.
One thing if ever you do get to Boston. They have a Red Line that is marked/painted on the city sidewalks. Just follow that. This takes you to all the historical sites.

It is on the wharf. They walk out the door to the fishing boats. About 50 feet away. There is "No Name" on the door. It is not a fancy place. It is, I think the best sea food in Boston. Yes, better than Legal Sea Food.

Very nice pictures and thanks for sharing.
If you find it difficult to get around D.C., it's because you can't read and/or know your numbers and the alphabet. Traffic and construction are your major problems getting around D.C., in my opinion.

Probably because there's only one "No Name" and Legal Sea Food is all over the place in Baltimore, D.C., and Phila., to name a few.
