Some time ago I bought a Quantum Battery 2 power pack cheap (because it wasn't working). I thought I'd take a chance and replace the sealed lead-acid rechargeable batteries. I did and they work, but charger connection apparently isn't. When I connect the QB28 (charger cord) charge light doesn't come on and left charging overnight does't make a difference so I know it's nothing simple like the led light not working.
Has anyone had any experience with this problem? I could send in to Quantum for repair but checking if maybe something I could attempt myself, like cleaning contacts,I can't see any loose wires or bad solders. Thanks for any suggestions.
I rebuilt my Battery 1 about a year ago and had no problems. It sounds like you may have had a solder joint come loose. I would check all the circuit connections with a volt meter & also check the output of the charger to make sure it hasn't died.
