yep...and next week she's getting a "foster dog" from the kill shelter in cleveland. she does not like any dogs put down. she has had as many as 11 dogs at one time. all her dogs come from the rescue shelters.

I do pictures for the shelters here in Medina county. It is hard not to take them all home. Some very nice dogs. She sounds like a good kid. :-D

she's a great kid (41)....eeks, i am old!!!
i was in medina and then over to the montrose area sunday...my wife and i are from the akron area. she has to go up to montrose area to archivers..as she is a scrapbooker!!! there are none up here in the U.P.
minneapolis is the closest.

I am going down to Akron tomorrow to see if the Blue Herons are back yet. Have you seen them down in the valley by the river? Went down last year and took a few, but work got busy and didn't make it back. Going to take more time for ourselves this year.
On a side note: I have a lot of family up your way. They were in the Marquette area. My Uncle worked for the college up there. The last name is Schacht. I have 6 cousins running around up there some where,ha.

i am 130 miles west of marquette. i love that town!!! small world!!
didn't see any blue herons over the weekend.

beautiful pictures, the first shot looks like a painting, especialy the head, the last shot makes me laugh, love the tongue sticking out, brilliant capture.

i am sure he was trying to tell me to quit taking his photo....this little dog had a terrible life of abuse before my daughter brought him home. so scared of any human.........really coming around now.
i think anybody that abuses an animal should be dragged out in public....tied to a tree for 30 days and beat with a stick every hour. these dogs get used to being beat and they think all humans will beat them. all they want is our love and affection.
it's a sad, sad world.
