Why yes, yes it will. Just don't open your aperture while sipping, otherwise you will get a lap full of coffee.

Still just a rookie here but it's my understanding that if you're hand holding for a sip, you need the IS, but while it's on the table, you should turn that off. And common dish detergent should be able to clean it just fine without harm.

True, unless you are using a fast swallow speed, say 1/500 or faster, in which case the IS makes little difference. But when using a speed like that make sure your have the coffee temp set to auto, or it may go done too hot!

I would suggest a screw on crystal clear or ND lens filter if you wish to change the color of your coffee. ;) ;)

Canon lenses are the most versatile lenses in the world!!
Why to you think Nikon is # TWO??
And everyone else a DISTANT also-ran!!
Put a little coffee in your lens and understand...,you weirdo!! :lol: :lol:

You never disappoint, The coffee isn't tack sharp and I notice some CR and vignetting :D :D :D
