In Flight at the Feeder

A nice warm day so I sat on the deck and just watched the birds come into the feeder. I was practicing taking photos of birds in flight...the cardinals were fun to photograph.

Nice shots, I see you have some pesky brown headed cowbirds.

Thank you Parsons. I don't mind the cowbirds - they all have to eat! I do get a bit frustrated when the hoard of starlings come in and wipe us out of food!

That's what the cowbirds do to us, at first there was one or two.
He must have went and told his whole family... I walked by the
window the other day and it looked like 50 out there fighting over the feeder.
I haven't refilled it since Sunday.

I used my Sony alpha with 75-300mm SAL lens; f/5.6, iso400, shutter 1/500. I "cheated" and used the action program....
