How do I uninstall g-mail and re-install it?

I've been having a lot of problems with g-mail and would like to re-install it. It hangs up and the little blue bar that shows it's loading all my new mail will not go all the way to the right indicating all the new mail has been loaded,.,.
I'm not having any other problems with g-mail and my bank and another dozen or so businesses use this e-mail to notify me. Thanks

Gmail - do you access gmail thru a web browser or thru a mail client?

Not aware of a GMAIL APP.

I for example use Apple Mail to access GMAIL as an IMAP client. OR I can access gmail thru Chrome/Safari as a web page - nothing to re-install that I am aware of.

In order to get a meaningful reply you should provide more information. Are you talking about apps on a tablet or phone? Which tablet/phone/platform? If your issue is on a computer you should spell out the details of the computer, the operating system and so on. With that in place there will be no end of guys on this forum willing to give you some helpful (usually :) ) guidance. Give them something to work with. Good luck.

If you access it thru your web browser then pretty much nothing is installed - it is a WEB PAGE. Now, if your gmail account (located at GOOGLE) has an issue, then you can create a new email address, then see if that resolves the problem.

OR contact Google for assistance so they can look on their side.

Worst case, uninstall and reinstall your web browser, or install a different web browser to test - if the problem goes away then perhaps your web browser was the issue.

Myself, I would prefer an APPLICATION, like Thunderbird mail, FREE, set up as an IMAP client so my mail stays on Google, but appears to be on my PC as well - hate using a web browser to access email :)

I'm stepping out for a bit, but thought this may help -

Gmail is slow, unresponsive, or not loading http://support.google.com/mail/troubleshooter/2753861

I'll check in when I return, but feel free to PM me if needed. S-

Close the tab, if your using tabs, that has gmail on it. Open a new tab and just type gmail and it should come up as good as new. It has happen to me a couple of times and this always has worked for me.

If you going into the setup menu you will find a way to reinstall your gmail. Don't think you need to uninstall first. But be aware you will lose all of your extras except for contact and bookmarks.
