Well after reading all the reviews, of this new entry of a bridge camera, I ordered it, from B & H.......... The fact that this camera offers 16 megs and a 2000 times zoom...........was enough to get my curiosity going.and the fact the lens starts out as a 2.8 and goes to a think a 6.5 at max..........seemed to peak my Interest
and going on vacation, soon, I though would be a perfect opportunity , to try this bad boy out........according to the photos, its large for a bridge camera, about the size of my D800.or perhaps, a bit larger, either case I"m looking forward to recieving it, once its released next week, and YES!!.......I will post some test shots, once I get it, stay tuned!!!!

Just sent in my P/520 to B&H for upgrade to the P900.
To be used for back-up for my D810.

I used my little P510 on a trip to Europe and it worked out just great. I now use it when I go out on my bike and keep it in the truck. The P900 should be even better. Mine does not shoot raw or have a hot shoe but with this type of camera I don't miss that at all it's only for casual shooting and as backup.

After watching the video demo it does seem to be amazing. Of course the video shows a pro with a good setup, etc, but IQ, sharp, all look great. I wonder how many shots they threw away? If I didn't just spent close to $1000 on a new lens I would think about this really hard.

It offers an 85x zoom, a 2000x zoom does not exist and nobody could afford one!

Will the shots you post be shots out of the camera or edited with some "post-processing" software tool?
