Where is the best place to have prints made:
1. Quality
2. sizes larger than 8x10
3. Turn around time. I live in the Phoenix area.
4. Honesty and helpfulness.
Thanks for any help.
Check with a local camera club. I am sure someone has a Canon or Epson that could do the job; and I bet cheaper than a business.

For a good quality online lab, try MPIX ( the consumer division is the pro lab Miller's). Two day shipping is either 6.95 or 5.95 and overnight FedEx, around $12.00.
There may be a local pro lab in your area.
Good luck!
Bay Photo or MPIX. I've used both and have been extremely satisfied.

Unless you are looking for inkjet prints on fine art paper, the process is pretty much the same - you send it a jpeg image, they send you back a silver or chromogenic, wet processed print, using Kodak Endura or Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Mpix, Bay Photo, Costco, Adorama, WHCC, etc etc etc all have similar equipment - usually an Oce Lightjet, ZBE Chromira or Durst Lambda, and use the same chemistry to process the exposed paper. The print services offer slightly different paper sizes, and the prices may differ slightly - but all offer comparable quality, and from my experience with Mpix, Bay and WHCC - similarly excellent customer service.
Turn around time is usually same day, and shipping is usually 2 day. I live in NY, and I have sent files to Bay on a Monday, and had prints in my hands by Wednesday with standard handling.

Campus Camera in Kent Ohio, Sue is the upstairs specialist and they still do it the old fashion way. You can sit beside her when she brings up your photo and tell her exactly what you want and she will make the corrections and you can see the shot before she prints it. This is the only way to go. I wait until I have 20 or so 12X18 prints I need and make an appointment, we will work together to get the result I want. PS Campus Camera will also match any price from B&H. Great service after the sale. And you can call them anytime with a question on your equipment.
Try Costco. I use the one on Sossamon in Mesa. Don't know which one would be closest to your location. The manager of the photo department at the Sossamon store is a photographer, so she's picky about what goes out. And she'll work with you to get what you want. I know people in Phoenix who use someone downtown that does prints on acrylic for them. Never can remember the name, but apparently he's pretty good.

I thought Costco would print nothing higher than 8x10. Also, is the quality good enough to sell?

Costco has poster size on luster or matt. They do a nice job. Be sure to use their profiles or you might run into problems. Profiles are on line according to location. I use them for 16 x 20 competition images.
I have used many as have been mentioned Gene always makes great points. The Costco store is close and easy they do just fine.
Here in Pocatello Idaho we have had a custom store open, Pixels and Paint pixelsandpaint.biz They are great for extra large.
Look for that type of entity in your community.

We have a Costco within a few miles from where we live. We shop there all the time, but I thought they only printed up to 8x10.
Gene51 are you serious that the companies that you mentioned actually use a wet processed print?
I did a little research about a month ago concerning wet processing using a silver emulition & got the feeling that it was an expensive process with a limited print size (of course I didn't understand most of what I read so I am still in the dark) I am surprised that most of those companies don't use inkjets. Question; does the wet process print result in prints with more/better detail in them?
