I keep looking and looking and something seems out of place

Most of the nikon lenses are still wearing their winter camoflage.
Nothing, Nikon has white lenses too.
Did you really think a major event obviously sponsored by Nikon would allow photographers to use non-Nikon equipment? Nikon makes white lenses, get over yourself, Canon users.
All I see out-of-place is the photographer in the back row with the black lens... he must be using a Canon.... :)

The guy in the lower, left corner is the only person going home.
Many Nikon lenses made for domestic use are of light-color.

I think it's that guy in the lower left corner, he is OOF!!
Otherwise it's pretty much what I'm used to seeing!!
SS
Camera-manufacturer sponsored events like this one, have camera gear available for loan-use by professional photographers. I suspect that the vast majority of these lenses were returned to the Nikon table after event.
Canon provides the same loaner service during their sponsored events. That is when I get to play with unusual Canon lenses, like the 65-mm macro lens on a Canon body.
Goes to show u Nikon is the best.

Nothing - this was a tryout for a spot on the Nikon team - You do realize what CANON stands for - Can't Afford Nikon, Oh No! :)

Yes, it appears only two of the photographers with the black lenses are professionals. The rest are hired models with plastic white lenses so their arms will not tire though out the photo shoot.
